Madeline started HydroDam for a blunt reason: after major storms, property owners get quoted inflated prices and long lead times at exactly the moment they can least afford either.

She knows because she lived it. Madeline is a St. Petersburg resident whose own properties have flooded more than once, and after the repeat flooding she went looking for a protection system that was durable, actually worked, and didn't price out a normal homeowner or business. The search was for her own doors and garages. Then friends, family, and neighbors started asking for help with theirs, and HydroDam became a company.

Madeline owns and runs the business. She spent more than a decade in business development and operations before this, and paired that background with hands-on product research to build HydroDam around the customer rather than the catalog.

The product is aluminum flood barrier systems for homes and commercial properties facing storm surge, heavy rain, and rising water. They're built to deploy easily and to look like part of the building when they're stowed.

Flood protection shouldn't feel overwhelming. From the first consultation through installation and training, the process stays hands-on and plainly explained, and every system is specced to the actual property rather than a stock size.
