Every question, answered
Yes. The Sentinel Series ships in raw aluminum and the Onyx Series in powder-coated charcoal grey, and post covers ship in white. Beyond those, we can have the posts, panels, and covers powder-coated in any color to match your trim, gate, or HOA requirements. Powder coating is outsourced to a dedicated coater rather than done in our shop, so it adds cost and lead time to the job. Raise it at your free assessment and we will price it into the quote.
HydroDam designs customizable, stackable aluminum flood barriers that seal off doorways, garages, and entry points before flood water reaches them. 6063-T6 aluminum planks drop into U-channel posts mounted on either side of the opening, and a compression gasket turns the stack into a watertight wall you deploy when a storm threatens and put away when it passes. Every system is measured and custom-fabricated at our Clearwater, FL shop, installed by our licensed team (FL contractor #CBC1269077), and backed by a 5-year warranty. Planks stack in roughly 7.5-inch increments, so the same opening can be protected to different heights depending on your flood zone and risk.
Sandbags are heavy, slow to place, and they leak. Sealing a single 3-foot doorway takes roughly 100 sandbags by our own count, hours of labor, and on our estimate $200 to $400 in bags, sand, and hauling. The U-channel posts are already mounted, so deployment is just dropping planks: each one slides down the channels and seats onto the gasket, stacking in roughly 7.5-inch increments until you reach your protection height. The planks are light enough to handle solo, without a crew, tools, or sand. Yes. Our Titanium Series is engineered specifically for commercial and multi-family properties: storefronts, ground-floor retail, HOA and condo buildings, rental portfolios, loading docks, parking garages, and municipal openings. Titanium uses heavier commercial-gauge planks, reinforced load-rated posts, and taller stack heights for the wider spans and deeper water those properties face, and a small crew can deploy it in minutes. Commercial projects are always custom-quoted, because spans, openings, and water depths vary too much for a flat price. The path is a site assessment first, then an engineered spec and proposal.
